Celebration of 58th College Establishment Day is celebrated on 1st July 2023 with pomp and grandeur. After plantation of trees, college flag is hoisted by Phanidhar Saikia, Principal, I/C . After paying homage to the donor of the college, Hemchandra Dev Goswami, open session of the meeting started. Mr. Atmaram Kumar, Associate Professor, Dept. of English, Moran College, and Dr. Surajit Giri, eminent doctor of Demow Model hospital, who has been dedicatedly giving service to the snake-bite patients, grace the occasion as guests of honour. With their enlightening speech both the speakers inspired the audience. Bipin Dutta, President, College Governing Body launched the News Letter, Jyotirgamaya, today in the meeting. Phanidhar Saikia released “Raj Chora”, the Wall Magazine of Political Science Department. A mission of collecting books is also conducted today. Students perform Mahavidyalaya Sangeet, and take part in cultural events. In the evening the celebration comes to an end with the lighting of lamps in the college campus.
