History of the Department at a Glance :
- It started with B. A.( Honours) in Political Science in 1984.
- Bhuban Chandra Dutta and Mr.BaniKantaGogoi were the faculty members in the Political Science Department at the beginning.
- Total number of sanctioned posts: 4
- Apart from the regular teachers, Gitashree Dutta and Meenakshi Arandhara have also rendered their service in the Department.
