Two special lecture programmes were organized by IQAC, Dept. of Education and History, Reading and Cine Club, Dept. of English on 2nd March, 2023. 1st lecture was delivered by eminent short story writer, researcher, Asstt. Professor of Dept. of Assamese, Tezpur University, Dr. Sanjib Pal Deka on “Assamese Women’s Writing in Prose (1884-1930): Rewriting Patriarchy?”. 2nd one was delivered by Jyotisman Das, researcher, Asstt. Professor, Dept. of Assamese, Tezpur University, on “Contemporary Assam in Colonial Life-writing: Colonial Construction and Reality”.
