On 5 June 2023 World Environment Day is observed in HCDG College, Nitaipukhuri. In the morning Assembly the significance of the day is elaborately stated by Horen Bhuyan, Asstt. Professor, Dept. of History. A tree plantation drive is organized by NSS unit in collaboration with Nitaipukhuri Gaon Panchayat. Smt. Dipa Duwerah, Vice President, Nitaipukhuri Gaon Panchayat, Bipul Borgohain, J.E., MGNREGA, Phanidhar Saikia, Principal, I/C, Bipin Dutta, President Governing Body, Dr. Gitali Saikia, Coordinator, IQAC, Sibaranjan Sarmah, Academic Coordinator, Anwesha Saikia, Asstt. Prof., Dept. of Economics, MDKG College, Dibrugarh, a number of local people and teachers, members of non-teaching staff join the programme.
